Descriptions of Cottages |
|
All cottages have soft water. Kitchens are conveniently equipped
with ample counterspace,
gas range, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and
utensils for ease of food preparation and serving. We furnish comfortable
beds, pillows, blankets, and linens. Towels are not furnished.
For your comfort, cottages have ceiling fans to stay
cooler in hot weather, gas or electric heat for warmth in cool
weather, and, wherever possible, rooms with windows on two
or more sides to provide cross ventilation as well as direct
access to the soothing sounds of water and woods. Outside, relax and enjoy
a lakeside deck, picnic table, charcoal grill, patio chairs, and Adirondak bench |

No. 1 Four bedrooms on two levels. Basswood paneling. Upper level: kitchen
with dishwasher, bathroom with tub/shower,
large cathedral-ceilinged livingroom with sleeper/sofa,
bedroom with queen bed, bedroom with twin bunks, large
cedar deck on two sides. Lower level: kitchenette,
bathroom with shower, two bedrooms, one with queen
bed, one with double bed. Levels, connected by both
internal and external stairs, may be closed off from
each other. Cottage has its own dock.. |

rate $540 (early special for 1-2 persons)–$690

Nos. 2, 6 and 8 have 2 bedrooms with
queen beds, a sleeping
loft (reached by ladder), bathroom with shower, and
cedar deck. Kitchen is in wing off elm or pine paneled
living/dining area, which also has a sleeper/sofa.

No. 3 is a wheel chair
accessible, barrier-free cottage. Basswood paneling,
cedar deck, livingroom/kitchen, bedroom with queen
bed and ceiling fan, large bathroom with tub/shower,
large sleeping loft (reached by ladder) with double
and single beds. Livingroom ceiling rises two stories.

square footage as Nos. 2, 6, and 8, but all on one
floor (no sleeping loft). vaulted ceilinged, basswood

queen beds and ceiling fans, and bathroom with vanity

view over main lawn to lake. Three bedrooms with ceiling
fans. Two have queen beds, one has single bunks. Bathroom
with vanity and tub/shower. Cedar deck surrounding large hackberry tree. |

No. 5 is a large cottage
with elmwood paneling throughout. Two bedrooms, larger
than average, with queen beds and ceiling fans. Sleeping
loft (reached by ladder) has double bed. Deck. Spacious
beamed ceiling in livingroom rises two stories. Sleeper/sofa.
Larger than average bathroom with vanity and shower.

| Cottage No. 9: Weekly rate $930–$1295
for 1 to 6 persons. |

No. 9 has basswood
paneling in the living/dining room. Two bedrooms have basswood,
one has ash paneling. Two have queen beds, one has double,
all have ceiling fans, closets, and tiers of shelves.
Two bathrooms. One has vanity and shower; one has vanity and tub/shower.Kitchen with dishwasher. Livingroom has sleeper/sofa
and gas fireplace. Cedar deck across full front.
This roomy cottage,
being at the end, with woods beyond, is the first
choice for those who like maximum privacy. |

| Our Recreation Building (see map below) features a
ping-pong table, table games, jigsaw puzzles, pinball, and reading
materials, and has proved a popular place for guests to gather
for games and socializing. |
