For over 50 years, Woodlawn has rented and sold Sunfish and Laser sailboats and parts.
Our experience and love of sailing have launched hundreds of new sailors. We specialize in boats that can be sailed solo or with a friend. Our boats are easy to rig and to transport. Lessons available upon request!

Sunfish
Beginner-friendly, high-wind hardy:
You see Sunfish at resorts and on beaches all over the world for good reason. They are simple to rig and launch, and it’s easy to master the basics. At the same time, they are responsive high-wind boats, offering thrills to the experienced sailor. The design is time-tested; Sunfish is recognized as a World Sailing International Class and has been raced in the Pan American Games since
1999.
ILCA Dinghy (formerly Laser)
The ILCA Dinghy is the boat of choice for high performance sailors. Very fast in light and moderate winds, very responsive to body movements of the skipper, very maneuverable, light and easily transported, great for racing. The ILCA Dinghy has been raced in the Olympic Games since 1996.
Rentals & Sales
Rentals by the Hour or Day
We rent by the hour on Blanche Lake, and by the day or week either on Blanche or at your lake. Check with us about current rental rates. (Delivery charge by the mile.)
Lease or Purchase
Woodlawn boats may be rented with an option to buy. Take one home, try it for a day, a week, a month, and apply the entire rental on purchase.
Parts & Accessories
Woodlawn carries most Sunfish parts and some Laser parts. Parts not in stock can be ordered. Delivery generally within one week.
Consignment Sales
Older used Sunfish and Lasers are in high demand. We will sell your boat for you or take your older Sunfish or Laser in trade for a new one.

Price of the 2023 model reflects new pricing from the manufacturer and significantly higher shipping costs than in the past.
